The request was for seven Harleys to transport competition winner Chris, four of his best mates and two escorts on the first stage of their day which encompassed a Tandem Parachute Jump in Barwon Heads followed by Kitesurfing in Torquay.
Along the way and right through the day the boys were accomapnied by two Black Thunder cars from radio station FM 105 TripleM, who made regular radio crosses to report on the boy's progress.
The Harleys arrived to pick the group up at 8am outside the Victorian Office of DIAGEO- the company who owns the Bundaberg trademark. Then it was off to Barwon Heads Airport via a wild ride down the freeway via Geelong.....
Depature DIAGEO office in Richmond at 8am
Arrive at Barwon Heads Airport for Tandem Parachute Jump briefing/training with TripleM Black Thunders in tow
Waiting for the first half of the team to complete their jump. The nerves weren't showing (Not!).
The boys are really pumped after completing their jumps.
Off to the Torquay pub for lunch. The boys decided to pay for all the drinks and the cost of meals for everyone who came into the main bar while they were there. At just short of $1000.00 - now that's something you don't get to do every day.
Time to say goodbye to the bikes - but not before we record Chris on a bike.
